I’ve received the wrong item, what should I do?

If you have received any incorrect items, you must inform them within a reasonable period of time. Where possible, you will be asked to return the products to them using one of our free returns options. If it is not possible for you to return the item, and if you are eligible for a refund or replacement, this will be discussed at the point of contact.

Can I return a gift?

Yes, but the refund will be processed back to the original payment method if you return via Post. All online gift orders will receive paper parcel summary which can be sent back with your return. If you have a gift receipt or want a credit receipt, you’ll need to return it to one of their UK stores (excluding Outlet, Simply Food, BP and Moto service station, hospital, airport or train station stores).

What if an item is missing from my order?

To get your order to you as quickly as possible, they may have to send some items separately and these may occasionally be delivered by different carriers. Their couriers deliver between 7am and 7pm.

Can you cancel an M&S food order?

Contact customer services within 30 minutes of placing your order and they will be able to cancel it for you. After 30 minutes, customer services won’t be able to cancel your order.

Can I get Food to Order delivered to my home?

Yes, you can now get Food to Order delivered to your home on Ocado’s new Entertain by Ocado service the exclusive new home of Food to Order.

What can I buy with my gift card/e-gift card?

You can use your gift card/e-gift card to buy most things online and in store. There are a few exceptions though:

  • M&S gift cards/e-gift cards
  • M&S Bank products or services
  • Outstanding M&S Credit Card, Charge Card or Budget Card balances
  • Made-to-measure items: shirts, curtains, greetings cards
  • M&S Energy
