River Island Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my delivery address?
Unfortunately they are currently unable to change the address on your order once it has been confirmed. However, when the courier contacts you regarding your delivery they will provide certain options that you can make to your delivery eg. leave with a neighbour
Are there any items I cannot return?
They cannot process returns or exchanges for the following items:
- Swimwear without the hygiene strip
- Grooming products
- Pierced jewellery
- Cosmetics if the hygiene seal has been broken
When will I receive my refund?
If you are returning online orders from the UK, they aim to process your return and issue your refund within 10 days of drop off.
If you are returning online orders from the Republic of Ireland or Internationally, they aim to process your return and issue a refund within 7 days of the parcel arriving at their distribution centre.
If you are returning a store purchase or online order to one of their stores, refunds will be processed using the original payment method. If you do not have the original credit or debit card, then your refund will be issued onto a River Island Refund Card.
Can I track my return?
Yes, returns can be tracked as long as you have used a trackable return service through our returns portal.
If you have processed your return through our returns portal, you’ll have received an email with a ‘Track Status’ link. Click on the link to get updated tracking details on your return. If you’re using a service that is not trackable, please keep your proof of postage.
Can I cancel my order?
If you have changed your mind and want to cancel your order, they now offer a cancellation self-service, but you need to be quick. You have a limited amount of time after placing your order to cancel it depending on the delivery option you’ve selected.
