Our holiday cancelled for Marella Cruise leaving 16th May 2020

Over £3,000 paid in April and still no refund.

Not able to contact either by phone or email leaving us worried and frustrated

Absolutely disgusting customer care service and gives no assurance for anyone wishing to travel with them in the future.

Email received recently adding insult to injury promoting future travel packages!

Dear Customer Service Manager,

I was very disappointed by the lack of alternatives that Tui has provided for customers like me, who booked their holidays prior to March 2020, to holiday during September 2020. Both my wife and I will be over 70 in September 2020 and must be careful about how exposed we become to the Covid virus.

You could provide no assurance that the flight conditions would respect appropriate social distancing, you provided no opportunity to change the dates of my holiday leaving me no alternative other than to cancel my holiday.

Other holiday providers and flight providers have offered us alternative dates for travel leading to no loss of deposit.

I feel that Tui are profiteering in this situation which will not be forgotten when the conditions change.

I have been a regular Tui customer until now - is there anything you wish to say in response to my observations, please?

I have been trying to get in touch with tui for 4 weeks now. Phones are useless, just e mailed given on their sight and have received a reply in German !!

My balance is due in 2 weeks but I’m not travelling to America this year with the situation as it is.such good store staff, let down by phones and internet! Have always used Tui for holidays

Tui keep informing me that they are having difficulty refunding people who paid by direct debit. According to my bank there should be no reason they can't pay it immediately. So if anyone from tui reads these reviews please act immediately

Been trying to call TUI for days now, spent hours calling, on hold only to be cut off each time after 16 minutes!! Should actually be on my holiday now with family. Received credit note but want refund....... you have to call to let them know that you want it but obviously can’t let them know as they don’t answer calls!!!

Seriously need to sort out customer care lines!!

Our holiday was cancelled on 18th March for travel on 21st, we have only had 1 email saying they will refund all monies paid, over £6k but since then nothing, rang and spoke to them on 3 different occasions only to be told we will hear from then "soon"! It is 6 weeks now and still nothing, no emails or calls. Then I hear that someone with a travel date in early May has been contacted and refunded. I think the way TUI are conducting themselves they don't deserve further custom, but they are so big now they think they can treat customers like this, not impressed at all!

Been on the phone to pay the balance for a group booking holiday its been two hrs now we are due to go in July hope when it's cancelled we can rebook for next year It's terrible to get through no communication

on the phone one hour twenty minits to pay ballance on holliday then cut off hope im not going to loose my deposit
