Absolutely dire, dont answer phone, dont reply to emails, they owe me 160 pounds and i am so annoyrd they dont answer my many emails and I cant get it back from them .only sorry I had to give a star, they deserve nothing

This place is dirty smell unhygienic for any family to stay in open the door to find the bin was overflowing with rubbish dirty burger on the kitchen side and a sharp knife on the kitchen side for my two-year-old daughter could have reached it we open as all to find the dirt smelly mass to turn back around and left on went to home it was not fit enough for a family to stay there I don't even want to give this place a 1 star

I have been on the phone for 2 hours trying to get through they just thank me for holding this is the 3 time this week and at the end of it my minutes run out and I don’t get through to anyone it is absolutely horrendous ive also tried to email but no one ever gets back to me I’ve booked a sun holiday but got no confirmation from Pontins until this morning I got a reminder balance tried to pay it online, then tried to get through on the phone , then took the email to 2 shops pay point but it wouldn’t work so cannot pay the balance help ?????????

I recently stayed at Pontins Camber Sands and was truly appalled at the poor hygiene standards and lack of Covid 19 controls. I have forwarded my concerns to Trading Standards & Rother Environmental Health.



In summary my family & I stayed at the site ( 21-24th Aug) and while we were not expecting 5* accommodation we were expecting basic hygiene standards.



On arrival all guests were required to queue at 1600 to check in thereby concentrating people together with poor social distancing control.



On receiving keys to the three apartments the first concern was the smell of illicit substances coming from an apartment in the block. I watched security walk past without flinching.



On arrival in each of the rooms we had to break as seal stating the room had been sanitized. We then had to deep clean removing debris from the bathrooms, cleaning soiled toilets, cleaning the kitchen, kitchen items and removing old food from the microwave. We then had to locate a mop and clean all floors. The condition was totally unacceptable in all three apartments.



The standard of bed mattresses was poor but fortunately we brought our own bedding.



The children play areas had been closed and fenced off due to Covid but these had been accessed by some parents/children with no policing via Pontin staff.



We spent as little time as possible on site but I remain concerned at the lack of hygiene and lack of Covid controls.
